A leaked Android 4.0 ROM with HTC Sense 3.5 gives an early preview of what to expect when HTC pushes out the Ice Cream Sandwich update to its phones in early 2012.

While the HTC Sense user interface remains intact, the taskbar at the bottom of the screen is modified to mimic the stock Android 4.0 user interface. There are also some slight changes to the pull-down notification bar and quick settings menu.

If you are giving the leaked ROM a try on your HTC phone, do take note that there are a few bugs such as the inability to set wallpaper from gallery and bad battery performance.

A few weeks ago, HTC announced on its Facebook Page that the HTC Sensation, Sensation XL, Sensation XE and Evo 3D are the first wave of phones getting the Android 4.0 update. Meanwhile, Samsung and Sony Ericsson have revealed similar but more specific time frames of the Android 4.0 update for their phones.
