The AMD Radeon R9 Nano was announced in late August this year. Positioned as the most powerful mini-ITX graphics card, this pint-sized card will appeal to small factor system builders looking to construct their diminutive gaming rigs! Let’s take a look at what the add-in card partners have to offer.

So far, there are four R9 Nano cards announced; according to the specifications provided by their respective manufacturers, the cards have the same specifications as the reference AMD R9 Nano card. Therefore, users will be hard-pressed to distinguish between the cards. To recap, the AMD Radeon R9 Nano is powered by the same Fiji GPU as the Radeon R9 Fury X card. The card has 4GB of HBM. Its GPU operates at 1000MHz, while the HBM modules operate at 500MHz, over its 4096-bit wide memory bus. Its video connectivity options consist of three DisplayPort outputs, and one HDMI port. Given its touted graphics compute capabilities and high memory bandwidth, of up to 512GB/s, it hopes to be the answer for 4K gaming for SFF desktop systems! It has a launch price of US$649.
