According to New Technik, AMD has revealed (and removed) the official specifications of the FX-6200 Black Edition processor, a new high-end desktop hexa-core processor with a clockspeed of 3.8GHz as well as boost speeds of up to 4.1GHz. Many astute observers had taken screenshots of its specifications before its removal.
This new processor boasts higher clockspeed and boost speed than its predecessor, the FX-6100.The TDP of the FX-6200 has been increased to 125W due to its higher performance levels. It belongs to the FX Bulldozer family and it fits socket AM3+ motherboards. According to CPU support list of Gigabyte's GA-990XA-UD3 motherboard, the microprocessor still comes with B2 core stepping; therefore, it is unlikely that there are any major internal core enhancements to the new processor. Its suggested retail price is US$175 which is US$10 more expensive than the FX-6100.
