AMD Announces Radeon HD 8970M Chip with Claims as Fastest Mobile GPU
AMD has unveiled its Radeon HD 8970M mobile graphics chip that is the most powerful from its Radeon HD 8000M stable. The new chip packs twice the number of stream processors as the 8870M graphics chip, and the company claims that it can be up to 54 per cent faster than NVIDIA's GeForce 680M.
