Amazon no longer offers free shipping to Singapore
The days of free shipping on Amazon has ended for Singaporeans.
Is Amazon Prime Now the cause of this change from shopping on Amazon's US network?
Starting from today, your Amazon orders will be more expensive as Amazon has ceased the free shipping option for orders above US$125 to Singapore.
Some HardwareZone forum members realized this morning that the free shipping option under Free AmazonGlobal Saver Shipping was missing. One forum member even went to the extent of checking 10 products that used to ship to Singapore for free and none of them has the free shipping option or even ship to Singapore anymore.
It is not known at the moment whether this is a permanent move. Amazon launched Prime Now, a fast delivery service in Singapore five months ago. You can find out more about Amazon's Prime Now in our extensive article here.
