As with every "S" year update cycle, the next generation Apple iPhone seems to maintain the same design language as the current iPhone 6.

According to French publication nowhereelse, a source sent several pictures of the alleged front panels of the iPhone 6S and they appear to be taken in an assembly plant. There seems to be no change in the design of the new iPhone although the source is unable to confirm if the glass is made of sapphire or whether it incorporates the pressure-sensitive technology, Force Touch

Apple is rumored to be using the same 7000 series aluminum of the Apple Watch Sport on the new iPhones and a leaked rear case of the iPhone 6S Plus last week appears to confirm this as the case does not feel as smooth and is said to be stronger.

Other alleged specs of the new iPhones include 32GB base storage option, a new rose gold tone, a slightly thicker chassis, new NFC chip, 12-megapixel rear camera with 4K video recording capability, LTE CAT 6 support, A9 chipset and 2GB RAM. Apple is said to be launching the new iPhones on 8th September.
