Alleged cases for Apple iPad Pro leaked, reveal two ports and 7mm thin design
The fabled 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro is one step closer to becoming a reality as photos of alleged cases for the device surfaced today.
Popular Apple leaker Sonny Dickson managed to get his hands on some alleged cases for the tablet device and they reveal some interesting specs. The cases reaffirm earlier reports of the tablet sporting stereo speakers at the top and bottom of the device.
Dickson also spotted two port cutouts on the cases, which suggest that the iPad Pro will come with two ports. It is not known if Apple will adopt the USB Type C port that debut on the 12-inch MacBook last month. He added that the design of the iPad Pro is very similar to the current iPad Air models and speculated that the chassis could measure just 7mm thin.
Earlier this year, an internal sketch of the iPad Pro was apparently leaked by a Foxconn employee. Rumors have pegged a launch date later this year and Apple might make an official announcement at its upcoming WWDC 2015 event in June.
