Aftershock rolls out the M-15 V2, a notebook aimed at gamers on a budget

If you're looking for a gaming notebook for under $2000, the M-15 fits the bill.

Aftershock's on a roll of late. Hot on the heels of their S-15 and Titan 2016 releases, the company's released yet another update to their line of gaming notebooks; in this case it's the Aftershock M-15.

Aftershock bills the Aftershock M-15 V2 as a machine for those on a very lean budget, yet still demand the biggest bang their buck can get them. That's not hyperbole either, as even the recommended variant of the Aftershock M-15 V2 is on sale for just $1,519, with the base set going for just $1,294.

The Aftershock M-15 V2 weighs only 2.3KG (the previous machine was 2.5KG), is 23.9 millimeters thick, comes with a dual fan cooling system and its chassis is now partially made out of aluminium.

We've listed the essential specs below so you can take a look at what the base and recommended variants of the machine get you.

The main difference between the two machines are the processor and OS options. The rest of the hardware remain the same across both variants. Those seeking a G-Sync display are out of luck though, Aftershock doesn't offer it as an option for the Aftershock M-15 V2. Instead, if G-Sync is really a priority, we recommend you get the Aftershock S-15 (2015) instead.
