Aftershock PC Adds Workstation level NVIDIA Quadro K3000M GPU to Line-up
Custom notebook builder, Aftershock PC has announced that the workstation class NVIDIA Quadro K3000M mobile GPU has been added into their line-up. Users can now customize their PC with the workstation class GPU, that is engineered for better stability which is required for professional applications that are CAD and DCC intensive like 3D modelling, architecture and design programs.
The K3000M (Kepler) GPU also uses the GK104 core code, which means its performance is on par with top-tier consumer cards like the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M. The K3000M is capable of supporting up to four high-resolution (3840 x 2160) displays at any one time, via its Display Port 1.2 or HDMI 1.4a. This GPU will also be supported on 15-inch notebooks and above, like the 15.6-inch Aftershock X15 and the 17.3-inch AftershockX17.
Prices for an NVIDIA Quadro K3000M equipped notebook starts from S$2698 for a base model 15.6-inch Aftershock X15.
