Add-in Card Manufacturers Release Radeon R9 290 Graphics Cards

Been a red-camp supporter but the Radeon R9 290X is out of your reach? Then the new R9 290 will certainly fit the bill!

The slightly less aggressive Radeon R9 290 shares many traits its speedier sibling owns, such as being based on the rejuvenated Hawaii GPU core, featuring AMD TrueAudio technology, AMD Mantle API, and 4K gaming, among others. It only differs from it Radeon R9 290X counterpart with slightly reduced number of stream processing units enabled on the core and scaled down clock speeds.

Besides, AMD has tagged the Radeon R9 290 with a price of US$399, making it more economical than the R9 290X that's valued at US$549, and definitely still fulfilling your gaming needs.
