Acer Announces the Iconia B1-A71, An Entry Level 7-inch Jelly Bean Tablet
The Acer Iconia B1-A71 isn't a surprise to us. It was revealed in several leaked images and a FCC listing weeks ago, which hinted of its impending announcement.
Announced earlier at CES 2013, the Iconia B1-A71 is targeted at first time tablet buyers, families who are looking for a second tablet for their children, and consumers who want a mobile companion on-the-go. Therefore, do not expect the Acer tablet to come with the latest technologies and hardware components.
The Iconia B1-A71 is powered by a dual-core MediaTek 1.2GHz processor and 512MB RAM. Despite its mediocre specs, the Acer tablets runs on Android Jelly Bean. It has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels. Other specs include:
