The 4K-capable Veho MUVI K2 Pro camera is here to beat GoPro

The Veho MUVI K2 Pro.

The Veho MUVI K2 Pro is an action camera that can record at 4K resolution (3,840 pixels x 2,160 pixels resolution) at 15 frames per second (FPS), and at 2.7K (2,704 x 2,028 pixels resolution) at 30 FPS. Like the other MUVI K-Series cameras, the K2 Pro can also record footage at 1080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution) at 60 FPS, and finally 720p (1,280 x 720 pixels resolution) at 120 FPS. The MUVI K2 Pro also comes with a detachable LCD touchscreen for easier monitoring during a recording session.

Veho’s MUVI K-Series cameras are smaller than MUVI HD camera models, measuring 59 x 43 x 24mm at 84g. Besides the MUVI K2 Pro, there are also other non-4K recording K-Series cameras, like the Veho MUVI K2 Sport and helmet-friendly Veho MUVI K2 NPNG.

The K2 Pro itself has a MicroSD card slot that can expand the storage by another 64GB, and it uses a 1,500mAh removable battery (with a reported record time of two hours depending on the settings). It uses a 12-megapixel, ultra wide angle lens with f/2.7 aperture.

The K2 Pro also comes with many accessories in the box, unlike GoPro cameras where some core accessories are purchased separately. Getting a K2 Pro will also net you a rugged carry case, a silicone weather-proof skin, a tripod mount, curved 3M mount, flat 3M mount, and a right angle mount.

The Veho MUVI K2 Pro will retail at S$549, and it’s distributed by BOIA Pte. Ltd.
