If you are looking for an affordable 4G-enabled Android smartphone, you will have another choice tomorrow.
LG Singapore just announced that its F70 smartphone will be available for purchase from May 24 at a retail price of S$398 (without line contract and inclusive of GST).
Some of the software features found in its flagship smartphones are also found on the F70. For example, you can unlock the phone by entering a personalized "knock" pattern. This is known as Knock Code, which was first introduced on the G Pro 2.
Phone makers recently shifted their focus on delivering affordable, 4G-enabled smartphones as the high-end market becomes saturated. HTC recently launched the S$398 Desire 610 in the local market.
