32GB Nexus 7 Appears in Shelf Tag and Ad, Price Point Similar to 16GB Model
More evidence confirming the existence of the 32GB Google Nexus 7 shows up in Spain and the U.K.
A promotional page up for the 32GB model is spotted on the Spanish storefront of Phone House, which is the international branch of U.K-based Carphone Warehouse. According to Android Police, the page up looks like a typical "sign up for more information" pre-sale ad. With a price tag of 279€, the 32GB Nexus 7 costs about 30 euros more than the 16GB.
However, a leak from another U.K retailer suggests otherwise. A reader of AndroidandMe sent in a shelf tag that shows the 32GB model retailing for £199, which is exactly the same when the 16GB Nexus 7 was launched.
Aside from the price differences, both documents appear to confirm that the 32GB Nexus 7 is a Wi-Fi version only. The rumored 3G model has yet to appear in any recent leaks so far.
Google and ASUS are alleged to launch the 32GB Nexus 7 on 24th October, although Google appeared to have shipped the new model to a Japanese customer by mistake. It remains to be seen whether the 32GB Nexus 7 will replace the existing 16GB model.
