26 percent of phones sold in China are made by Xiaomi

Xiaomi continues to dominate the Chinese smartphone market, as new sales figures from Chinese research firm Sino, shared by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, show that last month, 26 percent of all phones sold in China were made by Xiaomi. In fact, Xiaomi almost sold more phones than its two closest competitors combined. Second place went to Huawei's Honor brand with 15.7 percent, followed by LeEco in third with 10.5 percent and Apple in fourth spot with 8.2 percent.

Meanwhile, global market leader, Samsung, holds just a 3.2 percent share.
