12 Days of Christmas! - A Mini Camera with Merry Goodness Inside

Panasonic Lumix GM1

With cameras, you can usually only get portability or power, but not both. The Panasonic Lumix GM1 changes that, and wraps it all inside a beautiful shell. Not only is this mirrorless system camera impossibly small, it comes with a large Micro Four Thirds sensor inside, the same one which powers the leading-class Lumix GX7.

This means that you can get picture quality out of the camera that looks better than what you'd usually get out of a compact camera. But the GM1 takes things up a notch with Panasonic's easy-to-use touch-screen interface, which lets you do familiar things like tap to focus, swipe photos and tap on menus. And being a mirrorless system camera means you can always swap out the lens for a different way of looking at the world.

Check out the Panasonic Lumix GM1 at its glitzy launch event in Singapore, and our extensive hands-on session with the camera.
