Tech News Toshiba Reveals U925t Sliding Ultrabook
Toshiba will not be building the first wave of Windows RT devices, but that's only because it's focusing on Windows 8 machines, like the recently revealed Toshiba Satellite U925t sliding Ultrabook.
On top of unveiling two Bravia TVs and the MDR-1 headphones, Sony has also announced the Vaio Tap 20 tabletop PC and Vaio Duo 11 hybrid Ultrabook at IFA 2012. Both devices run on the Windows 8 platform, and come equipped with Intel Ivy Bridge processors.
ASUS is displaying the Zenbook Prime UX31A and UX32VD at the Comex 2012 happening from today to 2 Sep. Both notebooks feature Intel Ivy Bridge processors, and are backed by a 2-year international warranty respectively.
Intel is turning to wireless charging to improve on the attractiveness of its mobile offerings. Intel hopes to introduce this in Intel-powered Ultrabooks and smartphones by the second half of 2013.
Toshiba has announced business notebooks and desktops catered for busy professionals on-the-go, including the lightweight Portégé Z930 Ultrabook, the Satellite Pro L series, and the Regza LX800 series AIO Desktop PCs.
At Microsoft's booth in Computex 2012, we spotted a notebook we least expected to encounter - the Toshiba U840W Ultrabook with an ultra widescreen 21:9 aspect ratio display. Screaming of premium build and an unusual screen size, it's a niche product.
