Doing it in style seems to be Toshiba's new motto for their current series of notebooks and boy do they seem to do it in style. Case in point is the newest addition to their Portege series, the Toshiba Portege M800 which sports a glossy white finish made from their "Fusion Finish" process (which uses molten resin to achieve the glossy look).

The M800 is a 13.3-inch beauty that weighs in at a comfortable 1.97kg and sports a nice "Cool White Pearl" design with shimmering metallic striped accents on the lid. Using white for the color also worked to the M800's advantage as fingerprints were not so visible (as opposed to a black glossy surface). But enough from us, we'll let the pictures do the talking and your fingers, the scrolling!

The Toshiba Portege M800 glossy white surface hides fingerprint smudges well, so you won't find the same tired old complaint that we always have with black glossy surfaces.

The front of the M800 was home to the 5-in-1 card reader, volume control and WiFi switch.

The right side of the M800 features two USB ports, IEEE 1394, headphone and microphone jacks, and an analog video out. Not so visible is the Express Card slot, which is located just above the audio jacks.
