For the amount of transistors onboard, the temperatures of the Sapphire were quite decent, especially since this also has much higher clock speeds than the reference. You can expect temperatures of forty degrees or less in most situations and passive cooling is certainly feasible (and probably forthcoming) with such temperatures.
