Overclocking

We didn't have much luck overclocking the Radeon HD 2400 XT the other day but the Sapphire HD 2600 PRO proved to have more potential as we reached 800MHz for the core and 1720MHz for the memory. Compared to a standard Radeon HD 2600 PRO at 600/1000MHz and there is certainly leeway for the determined enthusiast. At these overclocked speeds, the Sapphire narrowly edged out the GeForce 8600 GT, though obviously the GeForce 8600 GTS was still too far ahead.
