The Sum of All Things

Like us, you're probably wondering whether Samsung's latest notebook is worth your hard earned cash and love, and after putting the notebook through the paces, we're pretty impressed with its performance and design. While we're still miffed about the gloss finish, especially on the palm rest, the X460 still managed to impresses us thanks to its solid yet light weight build.

In terms of battery stamina and general performance, we found it more than decent and we believe this is a notebook that will satisfy either students or working adults looking for a modern, stylish, slim and a reasonably sized portable computer on the go. Bear in mind though, it's no gaming machine despite its discrete graphics, but you'll be able to do some light gaming with older games.

With a retail price of S$2099, the Samsung X460 is priced quite reasonably for its capabilities, though it may seem a tad pricey to some folks. You may probably get a better specced notebook at the same price, but we doubt you'll be able to find something that easily matches the build and design of this notebook. That's really what seals the deal for us. Grab this notebook if it fits your budget and needs; you won't regret it (unless you despise the glossy finish internally and externally).

The Samsung X460 is a notebook that's worthy of your wallet and love, so if you're in the market for a slim lightweight 14-inch performer, this is it.
