As a result of its slightly lower memory clock, the Gigabyte was about 2% slower than the reference board in 3DMark06, without anti-aliasing enabled. The additional 256MB of memory on the Gigabyte however made its impact when anti-aliasing was enabled, with 1920 x 1440 rightfully showing the greatest benefit from having more memory. PowerColor's overclocked 512MB Radeon HD 3850 however was still the fastest Radeon HD 3850 here.
