Results - SPECviewperf 8.01

Considering that SPECviewperf is known to be quite as memory intensive as it is graphically stressing, we've isolated two workloads that best show the differences between OpenGL graphics and memory subsystem performance.

The 3dsmax test is more skewed towards graphics performance and we see that the base PCIe graphics subsystems of the nForce4 SLI X16 and nForce 590 SLI is similar, though the C51XEM2AA board does post marginally better scores. However, in the pro/ENGINEER workload, the higher memory performance on the AM2 system is again clearly seen.
