Test Setup

The test setup used was kept identical to the recently reviewed ASUS EN7900GT and it is based on the ASUS A8N-SLI motherboard with an Athlon 64 3500+ CPU and 1GB of Corsair DDR400 memory running in dual channel mode. For accurately judging the performance of the ASUS EN7900GTX and GeForce 7900 GTX graphics cards in general, we have gathered quite a few comparison cards as listed below. The crucial question is if the GeForce 7900 GTX can outgun the current graphics king, the Radeon X1900 XTX? That shall be revealed on the following pages, so keep on reading.

  • ASUS EN7900GTX 512MB (ForceWare 83.91)
  • ASUS EN7900GT 256MB (ForceWare 83.91)
