For its hardware, the Acer Aspire Timeline 4810T is making good use of Intel's new CULV processor, which offers much better performance compared to the Intel Atom though at a tad higher power consumption. It's also quite similar to the processors found on higher-end and more expensive ULV processor equipped notebooks. The Timeline uses an Intel Core 2 Duo S9400, which runs at 1.4GHz. This isn't blazing fast, but it is currently the fastest processor available for the Timeline series. As the higher end model of the Timeline series, the 4810T comes packed with a 14-inch LED-backlit screen, 4GB DDR3 RAM and 500GB of HDD goodness. That's quite a lot to pack into its slim frame of just 28.9mm thin, including an optical drive!

The slightly smaller 13-inch version of the Acer Aspire Timeline shares mostly the same specifications and build, though it lacks the built-in optical drive. An optional external drive is available for purchase though.

We doubt you'd be doing much upgrading with this notebook as its thin form factor already comes pretty much packed to the hilt with goodies. But here's a shot of the back of the Timeline anyway.
