I really don't get the review that calls this gadget "too small for comfort". That is what's so brilliant about it beyond the amazing recording quality, the sleek, beautiful design, the fact that it fits in your tiniest pocket. It is a tiny red light that tells you it is on, but it is always on, if you turned it on and there is a lock to make sure. No batteries involved, you can recharge it with a USB-cabel from your computer in no time, while it also synchronises with the computer if you want it to. Apple is no problem, perfectly compatible. I do verbatim theatre, which involves about a hundred hours of interviews during an intense month of research with people, who are often uneducated and don't speak very clearly. Due to the nature of the work their hesitations, mumblings etc. are crucial for the typist and our actors who then listen to the recordings. Everything can be heard in crystal clear quality, even if we are in the middle of a loud pub. This is my key instrument to my work and I love it. We do not do it for ethical reasons, but you can also record with this gadget without the other party ever having a clue that we are. This might come in handy, if you need proof in a court case or whatever. Great, great gadget all around, absolutely worth the price.
