Windows Phone 7 Mango Update Within Next Two Weeks, Says Microsoft

All right people, it's time to ensure that the checkbox to notify you when new updates are found is checked for your Windows Phone 7 device. Or, you could spam F5 on Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 update page.

According to Eric Hautala, General Manager, Customer Experience Engineering for Microsoft , the Mango update is slated to roll out within the next two weeks. Another point that caught our attention was Hautala's word of caution for users to "steer clear of bootleg updates and homebrew tools", or in other words, not to jump the gun and install leaked firmware that might not be optimized for your device.

Meanwhile, if you haven't already done so, do update your Zune software for PC and the Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac. Once that's done, what's left, is to twiddle your thumb and wait for the prompt to download and install the juicy Mango onto your Windows Phone 7.
