ViewSonic has announced the VX63Smhl series of gaming and multimedia monitors. Available in 22 and 23-inch sizes, the VX2363Smhl-W and VX2263Smhl-W use an IPS panel (dynamic contrast ratio of 50 million:1) with a full HD 1080p native resolution. They also sport a ‘frameless’ bezel design, which includes a glossy white finish, and an edge-to-edge glass faceplate.

Both the VX2363Smhl-W and VX2263Smhl-W come with a Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) port, which allows them to connect to MHL-enabled mobile devices. With dual HDMI and VGA ports, the displays can link to multiple video sources, offering flexibility between entertainment and PC-related work content. For gamers, both monitors have a 2ms response time.

To reduce eye fatigue, ViewSonic also touts interesting features like a Flicker-Free Technology and a Blue Light Filter for the monitors. In short, the former reduces screen flickering at all brightness levels, and the latter enables users to dim the blue light levels to ease potential eye strain.

The 22-inch VX2263Smhl-W goes for US$169.99, while the 23-inch VX2363Smhl-W is priced at US$179.99.
