It shouldn’t come as a surprise that ISPs have multiple points of presence around the world to enhance the services they provide. And just recently, local fiber broadband service provider ViewQwest has established a new point of presence (PoP) in New York, U.S.A. to enable faster connectivity between Singapore and the U.S. East Coast.

What about the West Coast then? Well, back in Q3 2013, ViewQwest has already established a PoP in Los Angeles. Along with this newly set up New York PoP, the ISP is now better equipped to peer with content owners and network providers in the United States.

On a related note, according to ViewQwest, the ISP currently also maintains various PoPs in London, Batam, and Hong Kong.
