Value enthusiasts will welcome the new Silverstone Redline RL06-Pro ATX chassis!

The Silverstone Redline RL06 ATX chassis series is the latest addition to its Redline family. They join the R05 series that was launched in June last year. For now, there are two chassis from the Redline RL06-Pro series that is available from our local retailers. Priced at S$125, the Redline RL06-Pro comes in two color schemes; white with silver trimmings, or black with red trimmings.

Each Pro series chassis comes bundled with a triplet of front-intake, 120mm cooling fans with LEDs. The color of the LEDs corresponds with the color scheme, i.e., white LEDs for the white chassis, red for the black-with-red-trimmings chassis. There’s also a rear 120mm outlet cooling fan, but without LEDs. To keep dust out, there’s front filter mesh with magnetic seals, which covers almost the entire front panel. There’s also a similar filter mesh at the top of the chassis.

The interior is painted black, and there’s clear segregation between the PSU mount area and the motherboard mount options. With seven expansion slots, the chassis is able to accommodate graphics cards, up to 348mm long, and 152m wide. We wonder why Silverstone hasn’t included a USB 3.0 Type-C connector in its front I/O options, and from the specifications, there isn’t an option to control the LEDs of the bundled cooling fans.

In our opinion, it isn’t priced competitively, especially in comparison with the R05 series that comes across as a cheaper alternative since they are priced at S$98. Or if you splurged more, you can go all out for the Silverstone Primera PM01, which is priced at S$160!
