Thermaltake Extends the Urban Series with the Urban S31 Mid-tower Chassis

Following the announcement of the Thermaltake Urban S21 earlier this month, the company has unveiled yet another chassis from the Urban series - Urban S31.

A mainstream mid-tower engineered with brushed aluminum finish and steel mesh front door panel to conceal extrusive drives and devices (3 ODD and 6 HDD drive bays), the perforated front-top panel serves two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a HD microphone and headset jack. Also, a top-mounted 2.5- or 3.5-inch HDD Docking Station enables blazing fast file transfers and effortless hot-swap drive replacement for easy setup or removal of storage or backup media.

Like the Urban S21, the chassis comes with two pre-installed 120mm fans to optimize system ventilation, pre-mounted holes for even more ventilation options, and 5.25- and 3.5-inch tool-free drive bay design to minimize the hassle of installing ODD, HDD, and other bay mount devices. Pre-installed holes allows for support of motherboards with sizes of up to standard ATX, while a rear CPU cutout in the motherboard tray helps with cooler installation, and extra space accommodates for extra-long graphics cards. Rubber grommeted holes are included to ensure that cables can be tucked away for effortless cable management along with liquid cooling tube routing.
