Thermaltake has released two micro PC casings, the Urban S1 and Urban SD1, to accommodate mATX (Micro-ATX) and Mini-ITX motherboards.
Sporting a metal brushed front door panel, a perforated side panel, and a blue LED indicator at the top, the Urban S1 houses two USB 3.0 ports, a HD microphone port, and headset jacks in front at the bottom. A pre-installed 80mm rear fan with removable filters help in optimizing system ventilation, while pre-mounted holes provides more cooling options. Offering a two 5.25-inch and six 3.5-inch drive bays design, it includes four PCI extension slots at the back for graphics cards, add-ons, and support for other devices.
Like the Urban S1, this new chassis is furnished with a metal brushed front door panel, a perforated side panel, and a blue LED indicator at the top. It utilizes a customizable 5.25- and 3.5-inch drive bay design, where users can freely interchange the 3.5-inch hard drive cages to suit their needs, or remove the 5.25- and 3.5-inch drive bays to attain maximum interior space for advanced cooling performance or liquid system build.
It comes equipped with a retractable motherboard tray to allow installation and upgrading of motherboards, CPU cooler, RAM, and VGA card. System ventilation is aided by a standard 90mm turbo fan and two rear 60mm fans. Ventilated PCI bracket and ventilation holes help in achieving optimal airflow.
Exclusive 2 + 4 modular drive bay design lets users assemble and expand speedily when all the drive bays have been removed. It also supports a radiator liquid cooling system up to 140mm (with cooling extension bracket included), and high-end graphics card. It features a large CPU cut-out to ease on CPU cooler installation, and two retained holes to support advanced LCS and cable management.
