Strontium Launches Hawk SSDs
Strontium Technology has introduced a new series of high-performance SSDs.
Named Hawk, these Hynix-built SSDs was based on SandForce's SF2281 controller and SK Hynix Flash. Available in capacities of 120GB and 240GB, the 2.5-inch Hawk drive offers sequential read and write speeds of 510MB/s and 470MB/s respectively. Its random performance is 50,000 IOPS read and 38,000 IOPS write.
The Hawk SSD includes a three-year warranty, and is available through Strontium's authorized distributors and channel partners, and at www.strontium.biz.
