StarHub Ups the Ante with Pre-orders for the Sony Xperia Z (Update)

Update: The contract pricings for the Sony Xperia Z via StarHub are as follows:

• SmartSurf Lite ($38) - $398
• SmartSurf Value ($58) - $268
• SmartSurf Premium ($98) -$168
• SmartSurf Elite ($205) - $168

Customers can now pre-order the Sony Xperia Z from StarHub and get a free wireless headset, the Official Guide to Xperia Z and Xperia Z Workshop, total worth $250. The pre-order will end 24 February, Sunday at 2359 hours (11.59 pm).

At point of publication, the Sony Xperia Z is priced at $268 with SmartSurf Value ($58 monthly subscription plan). We've reached out to StarHub for information on the other contract pricings. 

Both M1 and SingTel are offering registration of interest for the Xperia Z, but caution customers that registration of interest does not guarantee a reservation or pre-order of the phone.
