Samsung is rumored to be introducing two new screen sizes to its smartphone portfolio: 5.8-inch and 6.3-inch. The 5.8-inch device, codenamed Galaxy Mega GT-I9152, is said to sport the following specs:
The other device, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 GT-I9200 is expected to come with a 6.3-inch display, and will be available in black and white. There might be a possibility that the Mega 6.3 is the upcoming Galaxy Note III, as the latter is previously rumored to have a similar screen size. However, Korea Times reported in late March that the Galaxy Note III will sport a 5.9-inch display.
Huawei stole the title of the biggest display size on a smartphone from Samsung at CES 2013 with its 6.1-inch Ascend Mate, which was previously held by the Galaxy Note II. Well, it seems that Samsung is ready to claim back its throne in the coming months.
