Sony to issue firmware update for its VPL-VW320ES projector to enable 4K HDR

Sony has announced that it’s bringing 4K HDR capability to its VPL-VW320ES home cinema projector. This makes it the third Sony home cinema projector, after the VPL-VW5000ES and VPL-VW520ES, to support the 4K HDR format.

Sony has also developed a new unified control protocol for its projector range, enabling intuitive and easy integration when various models are used within the same installation.

The firmware update is available by the end of May 2016 for existing and new customers; you can find it here.
