Sony Expands Projector Line with Two New Models for Education and Business
Sony introduces two new installation projector models VPL-CX235 and VPL-CW255.

Designed for environments ranging from middle and large-sized classrooms to conference rooms and beyond, the ECO Picture Mute function present in all of Sony's latest projectors reduces power consumption by up to 70%. Also, the ECO Lamp Dimming function helps reduce power consumption and brightness by 10-15%. When a new input or image is sent to the projector, it resumes with instant full brightness. Incorporating the Sony BrightEra 3 LCD Inorganic Panel technology, the projectors deliver high picture quality.
Equipped with a brightness of 4,100lm and 1.66-2.41:1 throw ratio, the VPL-CX235 is the brightest WXGA model in the category next to the VPL-CW255. It also features a contrast ratio of 3,100:1, video inputs, HDMI and RJ45 or RS232C connectors. The VPL-CW255 projector offers 4,500lm brightness and 1.32–1.91:1 throw ratio for new or WXGA replacement business. Both models come with a Screen Fit Mode for perfect installation adjustment and which includes an eight point image warping adjustment for concave and convex surfaces.
The VPL-CX235 and VPL-CW255 are now available in Asia Pacific.
