M1 reported on its Facebook Page half an hour ago that some customers are facing intermittent access issues with mobile data. The telco states that it is addressing the issue and apologize for the inconvenience.
According to some comments by its users, the issue started early this morning at about 2AM. One subscriber commented that there is no data connection from the north areas to the central areas.
On 16th October, 3G service was down for some M1 customers in Ang Mo Kio, Yishun, and Woodlands. The telco later revealed that the cause of the intermittent connectivity issues was due to a radio network controller that the telco upgraded.
