Singtel's iPhone 7 booking site suffers "technical issues"; reservations to resume tomorrow

Today's not a happy day for Singtel customers hoping to pre-order their iPhone 7 or 7 Plus. For those unaware, Singtel’s iPhone 7 reservation site went down about half an hour after it went live today at 3 PM. After pausing the reservation in order to resolve the technical issues, the telco had hoped to resume the reservation process at 5 PM; but the issues seem to be more problematic than first thought, and so as of this writing, Singtel is only going to resume reservations tomorrow, September 15 at 10 AM.

What about the other telcos?

M1's booking process was different from the other two local telcos. Those who had registered interest with M1 would have gotten a pre-order link to order their phone, choose a collection date/time, and make payment. But some did face issues, one of them being having to call customer service due to a redemption failure error. Some had difficulty selecting the model they wanted, but that's likely due to stock running out.

StarHub's pre-order process actually started yesterday (September 13) afternoon, and was carried out in batches, with different booking time slots given to customers who had registered their interest. But not everyone got what they wanted, and some even had problems connecting to the booking site. Those who didn’t manage to get a set can try walking in to any StarHub Shop to purchase from September 17.
