Silicon Power Introduces the Slim S50 SSD

Silicon Power has added a new 7mm 2.5-inch SSD to its Slim series. The Slim S50 comes equipped with the latest firmware and advanced controller circuit design, ensuring stable IOPS performance after extended periods of usage.

With the SATA 6Gbps interface, it features read and write speeds twice the speed under the SATA 3Gbps interface and over four times faster than that of a traditional hard drive. Offering high speed NAND flash, it delivers high data transfer rates of up to 530MBps and 200MBps for read and write speeds respectively. Weighing only 63g, the S50 SSD is available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB, and comes backed by a 3-year warranty.
