For the year, the discrete graphics cards market is expected to hit $13.8 billion, down 33% from 2010 due to a pull back by consumers and a gradual decline in ASP (Average Selling Price).
With this in mind, consumers may look forward to value-for-money upgrades for their graphic cards. They may also avoid purchasing a graphics card altogether due to increasingly speedy integrated graphics built into AMD's and Intel's latest mainstream processors.
