Sense 5 Coming to the HTC One X, One X+, One S and Butterfly
Besides unveiling its latest One smartphone, HTC also took the wraps off the Sense 5 user interface (UI). Will the new UI be coming to existing HTC devices?
According to a Facebook post by HTC, the company confirmed that Sense 5 will be made available to several devices which include the One X, One X+, One S and Butterfly. However, some features enabled by the One hardware will not be available in the software updates.
Sense 5 UI has several new features such as BlinkFeed, a cleaner and refreshing look, UltraPixels Camera with HTC Zoes and Sense TV. Since UltraPixels Camera and Sense TV are related to the hardware of the device, it is likely that existing models will not be getting them.
