Sennheiser announces the launch of their second generation Momentum wired headphones

The Sennheiser Momentum series has just got a full revamp for 2015, with some subtle improvements in design leading to better fit and improved comfort overall.

The Momentum comes in a choice of black or ivory.

For example, the Momentum On-Ears now feature a slightly rounder profile with larger, better padded ear pads for improved comfort and excellent passive noise isolation. The Momentum On-Ears again use Alcantara for the ear pads, a material used by car and yacht upholsterers for its combination of softness, comfort and durability.

A new folding design allows you to tuck the Momentum headphones into their supplied carry cases for greater portability, while the new models remain as strong and as portable as before thanks to the use of lightweight and ultra-strong stainless steel sliders that allow for easy adjustments even when you’re on the move.

The Momentum On-Ears come in a choice of brown, ivory or black.

Both the Momentum and the Momentum On-Ears come with a three-button in-line remote with an integrated mic for taking calls and controlling playback. Both models are available in Apple iOS and Android (or Windows) versions, but the Apple iOS version will only be available after April 2015. The Android version is available now from all authorized retailers.

The On-Ear Momentum retails for S$319 in a choice of black, ivory or brown, while the over-ear Momentum retails for $489 in a choice of black or ivory.
