Remember the Secretlab Omega, the flagship gaming chair from local company Secretlab? Well, the company has now launched the Omega Elite, an all-leather version of the original Omega with subtle blue logo stitching. If you’ve ever turned your nose up at PU leather and wished for the real thing on a gaming chair, your prayers have been answered.

To our knowledge, the Omega Elite is also the first chair of its kind to utilize actual leather instead of alternatives like PU leather or leather-style vinyl. The latter materials have long been a sore point among demanding customers who want the real thing, and Secretlab is hoping to go after these customers with the Omega Elite.

According to Secretlab, the new chair is made from carefully selected top-grain leather that is supple, durable and long-lasting. It is also more porous than its PU counterpart, which may mean improved comfort over long hours. With that said, there are still certain things to take note of. For instance, leather doesn’t play well with water, so you’ll probably have to take better care of it.

Other changes from the first Omega include extra-large casters for a smoother glide, and a new stealth blue logo stitching.

The Omega Elite is available to buy now from Secretlab’s website. It is on sale at a promotional price of S$799 till June, after which it will cost S$999.
