SanDisk Announces New Memory Cards

With the increasing popularity of consumer products like tablets, smartphones, prosumer cameras and DSLR’s, Flash storage will play an increasingly important role in serving the demands of consumers for increased and higher performance storage medium. Today, SanDisk Corporation announced four new products which will be available in the Singapore market. They are: SanDisk Extreme Pro SDHC UHS-I card, SanDisk Extreme Pro CompactFlash Card, SanDisk Ultra USB, and the SanDisk Cruzer Edge USB.

SanDisk Corporation today introduced the SanDisk Extreme Pro SDHC UHS-I card. The card features Ultra High Speed (UHS) technology from the newly released SD 3.0 specification and achieves up to 45MB/sec read and write performance with long-term reliability by distributing data rapidly and efficiently using SanDisk’s proprietary Power Core Controller.

Pricing

The card comes in 8GB1 to 32GB capacities carrying suggested retail prices ranging from SGD $67.90 to SGD $259.90
