Samsung's cloud storage service, S Cloud made its first appearance in a hands-on video from German site BestBoyz where it can be seen in the Settings menu of the Galaxy Note II

According to The Verge, there are options to sync multimedia content such as photos and videos. Besides having to sign up for a Samsung account, S Cloud also offers Dropbox integration, which should prove useful since Dropbox is compatible across different devices and platforms.

We first heard rumors of Samsung's own cloud storage service in April where Maeil Business reported that S Cloud was built to compete with Apple's iCloud. It is said to ship with access to popular TV shows, movies and music with free and paid content that will be available across a range of Samsung devices.

The launch of S Cloud was supposedly delayed after Samsung ran into problems finding a suitable cloud storage partner. Rumor has it that Samsung partnered with Microsoft to ensure the global availability of S Cloud.

Samsung has entered partnerships with two popular cloud storage services, Dropbox and SugarSync for its range of consumer devices including TVs, smartphones and tablets. It remains to be seen how Samsung will integrate S Cloud alongside the other two cloud storage service providers in its devices.
