Samsung to Stop Selling Windows RT Devices in Europe

Speaking with German tech website, Heise, Samsung has confirmed that it is stopping sales of its Windows RT tablet, the Ativ Tab, in Germany and other European countries, just four months after its initial launch, due to weak demand. This follows news that the Ativ Tab will not be launching in the US at all, also due to lack of demand.
The news will come as a blow to Microsoft, as CEO Steve Ballmer, had previously stated that Samsung is one of Microsoft's key hardware partners.
