Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Delayed
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Delayed
We first got our paws on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and it's been a quiet two-month wait since with no launch details announced for the tablet. At a press event in US today, a Samsung spokesperson revealed more that unfortunately shed less light on what we already know about the product.
The Verge - "...Samsung had no release date to announce for the device, and that what was revealed in February may not in fact match the final shipping product. The representative cautioned that Samsung had revealed the larger Note to make a splash at the conference — something the company feels it succeeded at — but that the device that goes on sale could very well differ from the 1.4GHz dual-core Exynos SoC, 1280 x 800 screen, and 3-megapixel rear-facing shooter shown off in Barcelona."
Given the delayed release, earlier rumors have alleged that company is looking to upgrade the slate to one with a quad-core Exynos 4412 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. Nonetheless, we are hoping to see more key differentiation between the Galaxy Note 10.1 and the overly similar Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
