It is rumored that NVIDIA is working on the mid-range GeForce GTX 950 Ti graphics card. The upcoming card will allegedly feature a variant GM206 GPU, which is originally found on the GeForce GTX 960 card. However, as the GTX 950 Ti will be positioned a rung lower than the GTX 960, the former will mostly likely feature a GM206 GPU that has been throttled lower, clock speed wise, or have some its Maxwell Streaming Multiprocessors (SMMs) disabled, which effectively reduces its CUDA core count.

As observed by techPowerUp, the company might even implement both reductions, in order to make the GTX 950 Ti a truly mid-range card. There isn’t a firm release date for the card; however, its SRP will be approximately S$150. With this price point, it is clearly targeted at the AMD R9 370. However, the GM206 GPU only features a 128-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface whereas the AMD R9 370 has a 256-bit interface.
