Razer Unveils Multi Screen 17-inch Gaming Notebook

The death of PC gaming, it turns out, will be stopped by Razer's new Razer Blade, the peripheral manufacturer's first foray into notebooks, which it is proclaiming as 'The World's First True Gaming Laptop".

The notebook will feature a 17.3-inch screen, an Intel Core i7 2640M processor, Nvidia's GeForce GT 555M GPU, 8GB of RAM and a 320GB 7,200rpm hard drive. Portability is emphasized with the notebook weighing a light 3.16kg, and boasting a thickness of only 2.24cm.

The Switchblade UI is incorporated into the keyboard

The notebook also includes the "Switchblade" UI which allows you to put hotkeys, macros and skills on 10 adaptive tactile keys with matching icons and an LCD panel to display in-game information below them. The LCD panel also serves as a multi-touch track pad when a mouse isn't attached.

As expected from Razer, the notebook utilizes sleek styling and will definitely compete with Alienware in the looks department.

The Razer Blade is expected to launch later this year with an RRP of US$2800 (S$3370).
